Artist's Statement:

"Painted within these still lifes are fragments of the human world — classical busts, broken columns, and handmade vessels, a human imprint residing with the resilient and cyclical forces of nature.

Australian native flora and untamed greenery entwine with relics of antiquity, creating moments where the living, and the enduring wild negotiate space. 

Amongst this collection of paintings, the wild leans into the constructed, and the constructed yields to the wild, each holding the other in a quiet conversation. 

Through light, form, and the dialogue between object and nature, I have aimed to portray a continuous conversation between what we leave behind and what inevitably grows and thrives."
