'Unobtrusive'

'Unobtrusive' brings a touch of Star Wars whimsy into the language of still life. A simple bowl of eggs sits on the table, but the scene is quietly transformed by the presence of baby Yoda (Grogu). One version of him sits perched beside the bowl, within his familiar egg-shaped carrier. The pairing plays on Grogu’s habit of trying to remain hidden or unnoticed, even as he becomes the focal point of any space he occupies. I wanted to contrast the still life’s calm arrangement with a little mischief from a galaxy far far away.
