'Saint George'

In this playful still life, a small led toy figure of a knight in shining armour rides bravely toward three dragon fruit. Arranged with their spikes angled upward, the fruit takes on the presence of stirring, broiling dragons. The miniature knight, echoing the legend of St. George, becomes a tiny hero confronting a trio of looming beasts. I wanted to create whimsical, storybook tension and bring a classic tale of courage into the still life genre.
