ABOUT PETER BERNER
Peter has been a stand up comic since 1988. Over the years he has performed throughout Australia, New Zealand, New York, UK, Asia and Europe. He has written and hosted television shows including BackBerner and The Einstein Factor for the ABC, You Have Been Watching for FOX among others. He has appeared on numerous television shows including Hey Hey, Tonight Live with Steve Vizard, Good News Week, Sunrise, Studio 10. In 2006 He created, wrote and starred in a documentary about portraiture and the Archibald Prize titled Loaded Brush for ABC TV…
On radio Peter co-hosted Triple M breakfast as part of the The Cage, his own show The Peter Berner Experiment and evenings and weekend afternoons on 2UE. He still occasionally pops up on Drive with Josh Zepps on 702…
He sold his first cartoon to People Magazine while still at school and has contributed in magazines in Australia and he UK including The Bulletin. He is currently cartoonist for Limelight Magazine.
He’s released a couple of books of his cartoons over the years…
He went to the National Art School graduating in 1995.
Since that time he has continued to make and exhibit work most successfully in partnership with Project Gallery.​
